
You’re not going to believe this. Kettlebells are iron weights shaped into a round “bell” shape with a handle. That’s it. That’s the technology.
A kettlebell is every other loaded implement in the gym molded into the shape of a kettlebell.
There’s nothing specifically special or healthy or safe about a kettlebell, which, of course, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use kettlebells. It means you should be nicer when discussing barbells, dumbbells, atlas stones, sandbags, maces, and everything else in the gym.
