Your Body Has a Memory, but Is It Strong?

There’s a simple strength and conditioning truth worth knowing that goes like this: it’s much easier to get back into shape than it is to get in shape for the first time.

This is particularly true for strength training.

Now, this isn’t meant to be bad news for someone who is getting strong for the first time. It’s meant to be good news for all of us.

The good news is that once you work hard to earn physical capacities, it acts as an insurance policy against being weak. The literature supports this idea of muscle memory, too.

So, let me ask you. What is in your body’s memory?
