You’ve never heard of Nick Gray and that’s fine, but his controversial take is something you’re going to want to hear. It’s also today’s short Leadership Lab concept.
Nick Gray thinks you can use a checklist to host the perfect cocktail party in 120-minutes. Furthermore, if you do this well, you can create incredible value for your wellbeing and your career.
You know damn well that your network is either supporting (or hindering) your goals.
Ask yourself, “what specifically have you done recently to grow your network of powerful genuine relationships?” Chances are.. not much. So, there are two important truths to remember today:
-
Most people are dying for someone to lead quality in person experiences, and
-
Leading these experiences will bring you (and everyone else) great value.
Fun Fact: the original Leadership Lab content outline included a note about leading events in real life.
While this may feel like a fringe topic, the skill and executing of hosting events is not a small idea. Facilitating connections between remarkable people has endless important upside for the world and you can do it!
Throwing a quality party is the quickest way to great valuable network effects.
