Triage Your Shitty Health in 3 Steps

Let’s cut the bullshit. Most adults in America are living an absolute dumpster fire of health and wellness. It’s not hard, but you’ll need to stop actively living like an asshole and I promise you’ll surprise yourself. 

Let’s have a direct conversation. 

Here’s the triage three step process that will change your life:

  1. SLEEP AT NIGHT. No, you’re not some outlier who “feels fine on six hours.” When you put humans in a sensory deprived sleep study, we all do the same thing: sleep eight hours. You aren’t special. Go the fuck to sleep. 
  2. EAT REAL FOOD. If you only focused on eating your bodyweight in grams of protein, it would be improbable to mess this up. You can try to do this without animal protein, but it’s wildly difficult and I’ve almost never seen it go well. 
  3. LIFT WEIGHTS. If you cancelled every cardio session, you’d still be better off by building a body that is more metabolically efficient.Cardio won’t do that and you’ll be able to do things when you’re old. Keep it simple. Do old, basic movements and add seemingly insignificant amounts of weight each week. 

Let this feel over simplified. It won’t hurt my feelings. If you do these three things, you’d be so much harder to kill.
