We Remain Unchanged & We Have Our Reasons

They say 51,000 cars a day drive by our Venice location each day. Nearly all of those cars are filled with people who want to be more fit and have the means to make it happen. Nonetheless, they don’t. 

The reasons for this come across our desk often:

-It’s scary. 

-I don’t want to get bulky. 

-It’s too expensive. 

-It’s not my style

-Etc

My friend and colleague, Dr. Cara Miller, picked a quote for the opening pages of my book (which she wrote the forward) and it echoes in my mind daily. It reads:

“In this world, there is one terrible thing, and that is that everyone has his reasons.”

I’m sure you (like me) have changes in your life that seem to persist unchanged. We all have our reasons. I don’t have all the answers, but I think this is where we need to look closer.
