No one plans to fall off the wagon. We don’t make an appointment in our iCal to quit showing up and triple our gluten intake. I just, sort of, happens. Statistically speaking, it happens a lot.
Since we aren’t planning our exit from the gym into a life explaining why we’re OK without fitness, it can come in a moments notice. Hell, it happens all the time. It can come for you or another one of your classmates when you least expect it. It’s all without pomp and circumstance, too. POOF! and the last time you’ll step foot in the gym has come and gone and you don’t even realize it yet.
Respect this phenomenon. Stay on your commitment and hold those around you to it. After all, we wouldn’t plan such an outcome for ourselves in our wildest dreams, so don’t let such a thing happen to you.
