A Mind Fit for Fitness

Many folks that want the most out of their training or their crazy nutritional practices have a mindset that is least fit to get such results. If your mind isn’t on board with what it’s going to take to get where you want to go, well then it doesn’t matter where you want to go. You aren’t making it.

What does a mind that views strength and conditioning as a life long practice create? What about a mind that craves quality food? How about a mind that plays the long game? One that tries to master his/her movement craft?

That’s a mind fit to win.

What about a mind that thinks of nutrition as a matter of desire at odds with a quality diet? A worldview that says eating well is just a game of sacrifice, or that training is torture? A headspace that says that one would be OK if he/she just ate a little bit smaller portions than he/she is called to eat?

That’s a mind fit to quit.

Departing from broken, temporary logic is just as important as joining a gym or starting a “clean eating” regimen. If your mind views your “healthy” lifestyle as a sacrifice it will never be real.

Love the process and you’re home free.
