I took the photo above during a coaches’ training session yesterday. The open floor plan of what we do has always spoken volumes to me. Whereas many training facilities place a considerable amount of focus on the equipment and the amenities, this room is lined with the most basic of tools (balls, bars, boxes, dumbbells, etc), while the floor is mostly empty.
The open floor plan allows for creativity. The focus, after all, isn’t on the equipment. It’s on the movement. That, my friends, is a beautiful thing.
