Wonderment

Do you remember the days when you were riding in the back of your parents car asking questions out of pure wonder? This childish wonderment and curiosity seems to slowly escape us as we get older. It’s either that or we get more shy about it.

Considering the opportunity of wondering, it seems that taking things as they come with no real interest in why, how, or otherwise leaves a lot to be desired. Life gets boring that way. Plus, there doesn’t seem to be much growth with a perspective like that.

I challenge you to spend the day wondering.

“Why does he do that?”

“I wonder what goes into doing this.”

“How did I get here?”

“Why am I good at these things, but struggle at those things?”

I challenge you to ask more question. I bet that if you try to dig into the layers of your training, at least, you’d be amazed at what all is happening at DEUCE Gym. Do you ever wonder what’s happening with your training?

Spend 15 min on the Split Jerk

Complete the following with a partner, for time:

2 Rounds:
400m Run
-Rest ~3 min-

2 Rounds:
50 Squats
-Rest ~2 min-

2 Rounds:
25 Burpees
-Rest ~2 min-

**Each second round will start staggered based on the difference in finish times on the first round between partners
