We’re an active group. June will be no different. This month is jam packed with opportunities to practice leading from the front and getting involved. Take a look at what ‘The Nation’ is up to this month:
May 11th:
Invincible “The Challenge” (San Bernadino, CA)- ‘Team Hot Pant Hillbillies’ is traveling in style to take on this local 5K mud run event. The event taking place at Glen Helen Regional park is still open for registration and, considering the company, will be one fun time!
May 17-19th:
Reebok CrossFit Games: SoCal Regionals (Del Mar, CA) The fittest men and women will battle for three spots to advance to the CrossFit Games final, which crowns the Fittest on Earth. Come on out and soak up the inspiration!
May 19th:
Santa Monica 10K Classic (Santa Monica, CA) Dan Estes is taking on his first ever 10K, and he’ll be flanked by a number of his extended FFOTB family. Not a runner? Neither is Dan. No excuses accepted here, folks. Sign up and run for fun!
June 1st:
Femme Royale at Valley CrossFit (Van Nuys, CA) Our girls did it once and they are doing it again! This women’s only competition is the great way for the ladies to get their feet wet in competition, and for guys and girls to feel the unmistakable energy of competition in a local environment.
June 15th:
2nd Annual Port Town Throwdown/ HeyDay 5K (San Pedro, CA) We’ve got both 5K runners (of all skill levels) and teams taking on the team fitness competition. No matter what you’re in to, this two part event has something for you to participate in.. even if it’s just the food trucks.
June 15th:
Alpha Warrior (San Diego, CA) It’s like a standard mud run-type race, except without the mud or the run. This obstacle course takes the fun stuff and takes it to a new level. Check it out!
