*NO CLASS–Thanksgiving Holiday*
Routine. It’s more than just the “same ‘ole, same ‘ole.'” Whether you left town for Thanksgiving, or played host for the holiday, chances are life hasn’t been the norm as of late. If your like me, you are probably anxious to get back to business as usual. Or, maybe you’re liking this “escape” from the usual routine.
If you’re part of the latter camp, I’d like to offer you some words of caution. The Thanksgiving holiday can quite easily combine forces with Christmas, creating a month long step back in your progress (in your personal, work, and/or fitness life). Then, by the time Christmas gets around, New Years begins to look like just the landmark you need to get back on track. And, without even noticing the slipperly slop of the holiday season took you for a ride.
Get in control.
NEWS FLASH: Thanksgiving is over! Furthermore, it’s not even December yet, so don’t start with the Christmas excuse. It’s time to live your life and own all of the responsibilities that come with it. If you want to talk about the holidays and how “crazy” they are– fine. Just don’t pretend it’s out of your control.
Own this time!
