The Peanut Butter Falcon

After winning the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, TX, The Peanut Butter Falcon  is taking the box office by storm. Believe it or not, the film is making a run for a best picture nod started inside the DEUCE community. 

Writer and director, Tyler Nilson, may not wear shoes in the yard when working out, but he’s been focused on this miraculous film creation. It debuts in theaters next weekend and he needs our support!

Tyler was one of our first members when we started in the park and his life’s work is culminating with the production of this film starring Shia Leboeuf, which has a chance to take home multiple Oscar nominations. Here he is on Day 1 of shooting in his favorite DEUCE hat!

With a background in collegiate (University of San Diego) and professional (San Diego Padres) baseball, Logan is used to high performance, heavy workloads, and accountability. Luckily, Logan was blessed enough to work with world renowned strength and conditioning coaches, sports psychologists, and nutritionists during his career. It’s during this time that the seeds were sown for the belief system that led him to both the CrossFit Games and Strongman Nationals. These experiences guide his coaching today. Forever a “student of the game,” Logan is always looking to strengthen and question his understanding of humans.
