If you fail your fitness goals and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? There’s a certain getting-away-with-murder feeling that anonymous gym experiences give members. Whether you swipe your key card in the gym or not, no one knows it. If you fail to show up, your lack of motivation that day seems to slip through the cracks.
Now, the DEUCE community feels different. Coaches reach out to athletes who don’t attend their classes, but that can feel formal. The most powerful accountability tool is the power of peer pressure. The communication amongst fellow classmates can keep would be quitters on the rails and is often the difference maker between a successful fitness journey and an anti-climatic one.
Who could you reach out to in order to achieve some mutual motivation? Wouldn’t you enjoy a nudge from a fellow classmate? Maybe you could be that for someone else!
