Do you know the pyramids were built by hand? It may sound like old news, but think about that. You have a chisel and some rope, and some logs. Get to work. You know, they didn’t have cranes and trucks. You know how many years ago the Egyptians put those babies up? Do you know the man credited with authoring the first pyramid was named Imhotep? He was an Egyptian polymath, engineer, and physician. Can you imagine how this conversation went over at the dinner table?
“Hey guys, I want to do this thing. You in?” This must have taken tens of thousands of people, if not 100,000 people to create these monsters of glory.
This just goes to show you that anything is possible. People do crazy things all the time. The hurdles in your way are really just in your mind. Let the pyramids that stand in Egypt be a sign to you that anything you want can and will come true. It’s really just a function of whether you are willing to get after it and whether you are willing to enlist the help of others around you.
If you don’t believe me, go see them in their majesty. Or, save the cash and get on google and look at those bad boys, then go outside and move a rock. Make it a big one. Think about how many huge stones that were perfectly chiseled down into a build worthy structure it took to make a pyramid. The task is even hard to fit in your mind now. These guys were amazing.
As this year closes and a new year is upon us. Stretch your mind. Think big. Don’t limit your thinking to small things. If you can create it in your mind, your hands and your friends can help you create it in your life.
