Rainy Days

As you know, Functional Fitness on the Bluffs has invested huge dollars removing tedious walls and our all-too-obstructing roof to create a one-of -a-kind gym experience overlooking the Pacific Ocean. With that comes truck loads of “Pros” and a couple “Cons.” One of which is combating unfavorable weather, like the rain we are currently experiencing.

Sometimes rain will be manageable, and sometimes it will not. Today, for example, wasn’t an appropriate day to train. That being said, going forward FFOTB will make a decision for or against training, based on the safety of our student body, like we did today.

This reinforces the importance of our website. As a student of FFOTB, the website is a resource of ever growing importance. If there is a question about the status of class, simply refer to the comment’s section of the relevant blog post for messages regarding cancelation.

Unfortunately the rain put today's classes in the bag.

Since our program memberships are based on accountability and commitment to do what you said you would with regards to your training schedule, we will add time to the end of your contract in the event that class is cancelled. This will allow everyone the opportunity to train the volume they committed to.

In the meantime, don’t let the rain get you down! These days are great days to mobilize, and if you’re itching to train, this is another opportunity to utilize your coaches for at home training options.

Remember, the sunshine is never scarce in Santa Monica, and we’ll be back in action in no time!
