Americans Are Trading Annoying, Unhealthy Norms for a Better Way

Want to know what’s the worst? Zoom calls, phone calls in general, meetings.. Anyone disagree? As someone who really can’t stand the aforementioned adult pastimes, I’ll offer an alternative.

I’ve never had a bad time talking with someone in the sauna.

It’s a simple concept, but I think it speaks to massive shifts happening in the zeitgeist. Rick Rubin famously takes walking meetings. Organizations like AM Radio, for example, have taken DJ sets normally found at late night clubs where people consume drugs and alcohol to coffee pop ups that happen earlier in the day, where patrons drink coffee for a healthier music experience.

The tide is shifting.

Whether it’s taking sauna meetings or doing breathwork instead of getting drunk, this generation is trading archaic social normals that aren’t the healthiest with alternatives that leave everyone feeling better and their health is thanking them.

What are less-than-healthy routines in your life ripe for an upgrade?
