3 Questions for Supreme Clarity

Every now and then you hear something that makes you stop and write it down. Recently I was taken aback by a conversation I heard Tim Ferris have with Jerry Colanna. Colanna’s colorful life is currently being expressed as an executive coach.

Wisdom is clarity.

He had these three questions to bring clarity to our work and relational lives with ourselves and others:

  1. What am I not saying that needs to be said?
  2. What am I saying that’s not being heard?
  3. What’s being said that I’m not hearing?

I’m confident that you, the reader, have important answers to all three questions. In fact, any question that doesn’t have a clear answer seems like a great place to dig in further. I have particularly profound blindspots with Question #3 and it signals to me that I need to increase my awareness to find a clear answer.

What questions strikes you as most important?
