Mark your calendars! We’ve solidified the date for the 3rd Annual ‘Lift Run Hang’ event on Muscle Beach. All-levels movers are welcome to join us Saturday, August 5th for an unforgettable experience!
This event date is intentional. The intention is to host the event while school is out to support those with children and those traveling in from out of town.
Not so serious, but seriously fun.
The event is simple. Participants take part in three events:
Event 1: LIFT
Beginners are welcome! It’s an unsanctioned power-only weightlifting meet! That means no squatting is allowed for three attempts in the power snatch and three attempts in the power clean and jerk!
Event 2: RUN
The beach run is just long enough to feel like you did something and just short enough that we all can do it! The 2-mile scenic route will take participants to the end of the Venice pier and back!
Event 3: HANG
This is the fan favorite! It’s a beer garden social event at LA’s oldest operating bar, The Townhouse.
Not only does every participant get a FREE pair of STR/KE MVMNT shoes, but you’ll also get unlimited cold brew coffee and your first beer is on us!
